HEALTH RISKS. Health risk factors are those that increase the probability that a person will develop disease.  There are six most frequent factors that predispose to the development of diseases. 1. Poor diet There are certain foods that when consumed in excess are harmful to the body. Exaggerating with the consumption of animal fat and fried foods, common or white sugar in all its forms, salt, processed packaged products such as soft drinks, snacks, chips, cookies, sweets, pastries, sausages, can cause diseases. 2. Elevated blood fats Fats (cholesterol and triglycerides) circulate normally in the blood. When we experience difficult times, be they work, personal, emotional, family or financial, the demands can be very high and, at times, they can exceed our ability to handle them.   What are sexually transmitted diseases (STDS)? Sexually transmitted diseases (STDS) or sexually transmitted infections (STIS) are infections that are passed from one person to another through sexual contact. The contact is usually vaginal, oral and anal. But sometimes they can be transmitted through other intimate physical contact involving the penis, vagina, mouth or anus. This is because some STDS, such as herpes and HPV, are spread by skin-to-skin contact . Some STDS can be passed from a pregnant person to the baby, either during pregnancy or when giving birth. Other ways STDS can spread include during breastfeeding, through blood transfusions, or by sharing needles.
